Priced in USD. Documentation confirmed with your order.
Botswana's import regime, conformity scheme and treaty status are verified from official sources (see below). The exact per-product documents and fees are confirmed with your order. Commerce is open: browse products, see pricing and place an order, confirmed personally within 24 hours.
Botswana is a SACU member. Unlike South Africa, Botswana runs an offshore pre-shipment conformity scheme. The regime is verified from official sources; per-reagent scope and fees are confirmed with your order.
Authorities & scheme (verified)
- Botswana Bureau of Standards (BOBS) — sole national standards body; enforces compulsory standards across seven categories including chemicals.
- Standards (Compulsory Standards) Regulations (SCSR) — a Conformity Assessment Programme applied in the country of supply, issuing a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) required to clear Botswana Customs for regulated products (agents e.g. Intertek).
- Medicines: Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority (BoMRA), if imported as a medicine.
Note: earlier survey material listed Botswana as "no PVoC" — that was wrong; SCSR is a PVoC-type scheme and does apply.
Treaty status (verified 2026-07-18)
- CWC: State Party (OPCW).
- Rotterdam PIC: Party — Accession 05 Feb 2008 (InforMEA / UN depositary).
Whether specific lab reagents fall under an SCSR compulsory standard is confirmed with your order.
