Two chemical-side controls apply: KEBS PVoC (a Certificate of Conformity inspected in India *before* shipment — no CoC means the consignment is refused entry) and, for toxic/hazardous chemicals, NEMA registration plus an import permit under the 2024 Toxic & Hazardous Chemicals Regulations (about 21 working days).

  • NEMA — National Environment Management Authority: toxic/hazardous chemical registration + import permit.
